Marc Ayoub, MD

Dr. Ayoub completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. With a focus on Neurocritical care, Dr. Ayoub completed his fellowship at Northshore University Hospital/Northwell Health in New York City. Currently pursuing an MBA at Johns Hopkins Carey Business School, he blends his expertise with a passion for advancing neurological sciences.

In 2020, Dr. Ayoub co-founded a non-profit, International Telehealth platform that connects US providers to patients abroad during an acute crisis. As a Committee Member of the global World Coma Day, presented by the Neurocritical Care Society, Dr. Ayoub helped organize the 2023 World Coma Day initiative which raises awareness of coma as a treatable and recoverable clinical entity, encourages medical providers and patients/patient advocates to get involved in the Curing Coma campaign, and motivates caregivers to participate in specific current and future scientific efforts devoted to curing disorders of consciousness.

His clinical interests include management of traumatic brain injury, severe stroke and critically-ill neurology patients, and Post-Intensive Care Syndrome.
